OUR HISTORY |
| Park Baptist Child Development Center was established in 1970 as a ministry of the Church to serve the children of working parents in the community. The center provides a full day educational program to 120 children from three months to five years of age. It also includes after school care and a full day summer camp for 30 children from kindergarten to fifth grade. |
| OUR CURRICULUM | ||
| Each child has
his or her own particular learning style and rate of development
therefore, our emphasis is on
meeting the needs of each individual child. Our basic curriculum
philosophy is "Children Learn Through Play." Each classroom has a
planned environment. The toys, equipment and activity centers are
designed to help each child develop certain concepts and skills that
will form the foundation upon which they will build throughout the years
in education facilities and beyond. Our approach encourages
positive self-esteem, problem solving, decision making and individual
responsibility.
